This 1 year ukulele course designed for our younger students as an alternative to recorder year 2, and also as a lead in for guitar lessons.

Students must have completed a minimum of recorder level 1 before enrolling in ukulele lessons.

Students need to provide their own ukulele and bring it to lessons.

We offer ukulele as an alternative to a second year of recorder. We recommend ukulele for students who wish to take guitar in Year 3.
​However if students wish to learn a brass or wind instruments later, we highly  recommend to learn a second year of recorder.

Course Book
​Progressive Ukulele Method for Young Beginners - Book 1, which can be purchased from your local music store.

The soprano size ukulele is required for the classes.
