Recorder Level 1
Enrolments for 2026 are now open
This is a two year course for children 6+ years who are new to learning music. Students will learn how to play the recorder, basic music skills such as note reading, rhythm, pitch, playing in a group and they are also encouraged to develop good practice habits.

Students must complete this 2 year recorder course before enrolling in another instrument course.

We now offer introduction to flute, violin, keyboard and ukulele as an alternative to the second year of recorder.

Recorder Level 1

Students must have turned 6 before February 2026 to be eligible for Recorder Level 1 classes.
