Recorder

This is a two year course for children 6+ years who are new to learning music. Students will learn how to play the recorder, basic music skills such as note reading, rhythm, pitch, playing in a group and they are also encouraged to develop good practice habits.
Students must complete this 2 year recorder course before enrolling in another instrument course.
We now offer violin, keyboard and ukulele as an alternative to the second year of recorder.
However if students who wish to learn brass or wind instruments later, we highly recommend to learn second year recorder.
