Jazz Band and Orchestra

​Apart from the instrument lessons, we offer these groups as well. There are no additional fees for these.

We strongly recommend the students to take part in these groups as they get to be part of a group of students who are all learning how to play an instrument. Every member of the group is important, and the group does not function without every member there.

​Students will learn about important values such as teamwork, dedication, responsibility and discipline. They will also learn how to follow a conductor and blend their sound with other instruments. But most of all, it is fun making music together!​

Orchestra

This group is free for and available to any students that have been learning their main instrument for 1 year or more. 

​Playing in the orchestra gives students a wonderful opportunity to use what they have learned during their lessons and enjoy their instrument as an important part of a group. Our orchestra is a good basis for joining a bigger orchestra at college.

Ex Music Centre students who have graduated from our program are also welcome to join the orchestra.

Jazz Band

​This group is free for and available to any students that have been learning their main instrument for 1 year or more. 
​
​Our concert band forms a great head start for students when they want to join a band at college. Students will be able to learn improvisation and play different styles of jazz. 

Ex Music Centre students who have graduated from our program are also welcome to join the Jazz Band.
