Has a lovely high, sweet sound. Students should be sized by their teacher to ensure they purchase or hire the correct size flute.
Students must have completed 2 years of basic instrument (We recommend taking the Nuvo Toot mini flute class in year 2) or be 9yrs old before enrolling in flute lessons. Optional Thumbport: we highly recommend that students use a Thumbport on their flute. Most students find it very awkward to position the right thumb correctly (which results in their fingering technique developing ineffectively). The Thumbport eliminates this problem easily by supporting the flute so that the fingers do not have to. One Thumbport will last for many years and is a worthwhile investment. Students are able to hire a flute for the duration of their lessons with us. Instrument hire is $120 per year. Use the button below to book and pay for your instrument hire.
